Information Meeting - Wed, June 1, 2022, at 5:00-5:30 PM

Parents and at least one parent/guardian are required to attend the EFC Information Meeting on Wed, June 1, 5:00-5:30 PM in the parish Gathering Space.  (intentionally beginning right after youth group at 5:00 PM!)

Spiritually Sponsor Your Camper

Your son or daughter's spiritual experience at camp will be greatly, greatly impacted by how much "intercessory prayer" you offer for him or her.  Two years ago, one family prayed dozens of Masses, rosaries, chaplets, and other prayers for their son.  Not coincidentally, he had a life-changing spiritual experience.  St. Anthony Marie Claret knew that the success of his missionary endeavors depending on the sacrifices and prayers he offered God in behalf of the people he preached to.  Jesus even made it clear that certain evils (think of anxiety, depression, addictions, loneliness, etc.) can only be removed with "prayer and fasting."  Will you make offerings for your son or daughter?  CLICK HERE TO DO SO (AND DO SO OFTEN)

Fundraising

Campers are invited to raise money to offset their costs.  In the Church, it is common for missionaries to reach out to family, friends, and acquaintenances and ask for small-to-midsize donations to help cover theirs costs.  Many people are happy to contribute to the building up of God's kingdom, especially if it is going to help a young person grow closer to Christ.  Along those lines, we will be asking people to become financial sponsors and spiritual sponsors.  To encourage this, please download and use the word document below entitled Fundraising Letter.  Be sure to update it with the appropriate information and personalize it.  You can copy and paste it into an email, email it as a PDF attachment (file, save as, PDF), mail it, hand-deliver it, or use it as a format to make phone calls or home visits.  Be creative, but most importantly, be kind, loving, gracious, and grateful.  If someone makes a donation, be sure to send a thank you letter afterwards.  The forgotten art of "thank yous" will take you far in life and in the kingdom of God!
