A Message From the Principal

   Welcome to Our School

Welcome to our web site as a window into our world of Catholic education. The essence of Catholic education at Saint John’s School is to touch the minds and hearts of our students with the Christian spirit. We provide opportunities for each student to grow spiritually, morally, intellectually and physically within our community of faith.  We provide a strong Catholic foundation with an excellent academic program for each of our students.

Embedded in those goals we look forward to the opportunity to work as a team with each student and family to build upon what you have provided for your child, as we together, help him/her to develop a faith-filled life as well as strong thinking skills, resilience, independence and self assurance to meet the demands of the 21st century.

Just as each student we teach is a gift, so Catholic education is a gift. When we give a gift or, for that matter, receive a gift; we have no way of really knowing its future impact. Often it is only through reflection months or years later that we discover the importance of special gifts. As we guide our students through preschool, elementary and middle school we realize the gift our students give us in return as we observe their growth in leadership, service and commitment to God and the community.

Students continue our tradition of actively participating in the school Masses, prayer services and rosaries which complement our core values taught in all the classes. During the month of November, the Student Council leads our annual school-wide Thanksgiving Food Drive and distributes the food to a family shelter for women and children.

We are so grateful to our parish members and alumni who volunteer time and talents and/or provide us with financial support through the parish or with dedicated donations to the school. As we continue our shared dedication to the mission of Saint John’s School, I thank all our parents for the continued gifts of volunteer efforts, talent and financial support to make our work with students possible now and for many years to come. It is my firm belief that God works though us to achieve His purpose.
